A Bit About Me
My name is Abbie, and I am a labor and postpartum doula currently located in NE Arizona. I am a natural empath, a chef, a mom of two, and a passionate advocate. When I am not cooking, I like to go on walks with my family, read, drink good coffee, and learn. I have always had a passion for women's rights, especially those of a new mother, and in the chaos of 2020, I had countless friends recall to me the trauma their birth experience held simply because they were uninformed, scared, and felt out of control. This heartbreak provoked me to learn and educate myself, and those around me, in all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Education holds power, and I wanted to hand mother's power back to them in the delivery room.
That learning and empathic listening, lead me to get my DONA certification as a birth doula. That is where I am today, nearly through with the DONA certification process, I am beginning my practice helping women enter motherhood informed, supported, and well fed. I hope that with this new certification to back my natural skills and wealth of knowledge, that I am able to help mothers from all backgrounds access the birth story they deserve.
